President Hakainde Hichilema has with Immediate effect terminated the contract for Luapula Province Deputy Permanent Secretary Royd Mwansa, and five District Commissioners from Western, Muchinga and Luapula provinces, respectively.
The District Commissioners whose contracts have been terminated include Nchelenge District Commissioner Robert Mutepuka, Mwansabombwe District Commissioner, Morton Sikazwe and Chifunabuli District Commissioner Adam Banda.
Others are Collins Sichivula, District Commissioner for Isoka and Edmon Mumbula, who is Sioma District Commissioner.
And the President has since thanked the former government officials for the services rendered to the government
